Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mohd Lutfi Hafifi, and I proudly call Kota Kinabalu, Sabah - Malaysia my home. I've embraced the life of a freelance writer, specializing in crafting compelling documentary scripts, feature films, and various forms of freelance writing, particularly in the rich and nuanced Malay language.
My journey has taken me far and wide, having traversed nearly 70 countries in pursuit of enriching experiences and diverse perspectives. Prior to my freelance endeavors, I dedicated six fruitful years (2012-2017) as a broadcast reporter, honing my storytelling skills and deepening my understanding of the world around me.
Today, my passion lies in exploring the intricate tapestry of humanity, delving into societal intricacies, and shedding light on the multifaceted landscapes of Asia. Through my work, I strive to amplify voices, provoke thought, and foster greater cultural understanding.

Perkenalkan, saya Mohd Lutfi Hafifi. Saya berasal dari Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, MY tempat yang saya panggil rumah. Sekarang ini saya bergerak sebagai penulis bebas, banyak fokus pada penulisan skrip dokumentari, filem, dan pelbagai jenis penulisan lain, terutamanya dalam Bahasa Melayu.
Sepanjang hidup, saya berpeluang menjelajah hampir 70 buah negara, satu pengalaman yang banyak membuka mata dan memberi perspektif baru. Sebelum ini, saya pernah bekerja sebagai wartawan penyiaran selama enam tahun (2012–2017), di situlah saya belajar bercerita dengan lebih mendalam dan memahami dunia dengan cara yang berbeza.
Hari ini, saya lebih cenderung untuk menulis tentang manusia, kisah kehidupan, realiti masyarakat, dan warna-warni Asia yang penuh dengan cerita. Melalui penulisan, saya cuba berkongsi suara, cetuskan idea, dan dekatkan kita dengan pelbagai budaya.
Jom ikut sama perjalanan ini — kita selami cerita manusia, dan hargai kisah-kisah yang menghubungkan kita semua.

I currently reside in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah - Malaysia. I am a freelance writer and I write documentary scripts, feature films and freelance writing especially in the Malay language.
I traveled to almost 70 countries to gain experience and also worked as a broadcast reporter for 6 years (2012-2017) and now I am freelancing.
My focus is in the humanities, society and Asia.
